Job Context:

Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib University, Jamalpur (SFMU) requires Lecturer for the following Faculty positions: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Law, Economics, Political Science, and English.

Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure that students have an effective learning experience by providing high-quality academic guidance and advice and by enhancing their employability.
• Conducting classes following the SFMU & UGC guidelines.
• Prepare and modify the course syllabus and course outlines.
• Conducting extra-curricular activities through arranging workshop, seminar, conference, symposium etc.
• To demonstrate innovative approaches to teaching and support for students through the use of a wide range of learning resources.
• To ensure in research & development related activities.
• To take accountability for the development and delivery of learning, teaching materials, and assessment.
• Making contribution towards the development of the department as well as of the SFMU.
• Conducting research and publication related activities.
• Other duties as assigned by the SFMU Higher Authority.

Educational Requirements:

• B.Sc. Engineering or B.Sc. (Honours) degree (in CSE or EEE) with minimum CGPA 3.00 (or equivalent) out of 4 in each degree from any reputed public/private university.
• Bachelor (Honours) with Master Degree (in Law or English or Economics or Political Science) with minimum CGPA 3.00 (or equivalent) out of 4 in each degree from any reputed public/private university.
• Minimum GPA 4.00 out of 5.00 both in SSC, HSC or equivalent examinations.
• As per UGC rules.
• Candidate with research publication in reputed journal will get special consideration.

Skills Required:

Analytical Skill, Communication skills, Computer skill, Interpersonal Skills, Presentation Skills, and Sound Knowledge on Microsoft Office Package
