Welcome to the Department of Library Management and Information Science. It is our pleasure to introduce department of LMIS. From the arising of the department we are trying to gradually improve its curricula and teaching-learning systems by the help of the best teacher’s from reputed university. We are contented and committed to take the department along with the help of the faculties, students and officers. We are following the update curriculum for the post-graduate diploma in Library Management and Information Science. We are trying to provide an excellent curriculum to make best library professionals. We also facilitated library equipped with books and research materials containing the latest advancements in information science. We are delight to acquaint that a good number of our alumni students are currently doing job in different libraries in Bangladesh. Along with the academic studies, our students regularly participate in many co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which bring name and fame for our department. We are always looking forward for enhanced collaboration with national institutions and other universities to reach and exposure through exchange programs. Looking forward, we will continue our attempt in the field of Library Management and Information Science to make best information professionals by conjoining our educational and research programs.
