The Department of English at Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib University aims at providing students with exposure to the areas and aspects of English Language and Literature in the undergraduate programs to refine students’ sensibilities, sharpen their critical faculties and equip them with the knowledge and skills which will make them enable to face the challenges of the 21st century. In order to guide the whole system, the Department of English follows the dual semester system in teaching.
