Welcome to the Department of Law at Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib University (SFMU), Jamalpur. The Department of Law is very much committed to produce world-class talented lawyers, Judges, Legal Advisors and Legal Scalars. The goal of the Department of Law is to provide a theory based but practically focused learning environment that prepares the students to become skilled lawyers in globally competitive world and to develop their ethical and professional responsibilities. The syllabus of the program is dully recognized by relevant regulatory body (UGC) and professional regulatory body (Bangladesh Bar Council) and prepared with a view to enabling the students to meet their professional challenges at national and international level. There is a Moot-Court and a Moot Court Club facilitating the students to enhance their lawyering skills. The Department of Law is also committed to accomplish the vision and mission of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib University. Our faculty members are also rich in their knowledge and experience.
We believe that the students of our department will build a strong ethical professional and academic knowledge base from our university by following our instructions, trainings and other academic pursuits. I extend my warm welcome and thank you for visiting us.
